The Mighty George Farmer are an English indie-rock band. Powered by sheer grit and determination to connect their true-to-life lyrics, anthemic tunes and catchy riffs with an ever growing and loyal fanbase.

 

Albums, 'That Northern Grit' (2020) and 'Passion & Fact' (2022) bookend EP 'Raised on These Terraces' (2021) The band have a fresh sound, one that is hard to be labelled as sounding too much like anyone else, and that is something rare in modern times. Those that love TMGF find meaning and connection in the real life content of the writer's lyrics. The band are living life at the sharp end of exactly what Martin Sullivan sings about and that level of authenticity hits home with their listeners.

 

The lads aren't afraid to put in the hard yards either, having sourced, planned and delivered live gigs at prominent grassroots venues across Liverpool that include The Cavern Club, The Jacaranda, The Kazimier Stockroom, and the UK that include The Ferret Preston, Dirty Blondes Blackpool , Retro Manchester, Alexanders-Live Chester, The Dublin Castle London and The Brunswick Brighton. Selected by Sofar Sounds Liberpool and caught the attention of when performing in-store at HMV Liverpool 2024.
